Relearning to Draw
I’m relearning to draw because I used to draw with my left hand. Now, with how bad the nerve damage is – I’m almost entirely useless.
So, here we are. Relearning to draw. And this is what I started off with:

I did this using just one pencil and an eraser. It’s not perfect, it’s far from it. But for a first attempt with my right hand – I think I’m on the right path.
And because I’m predominantly a digital artist – mainly because I hate using sketchbooks [thanks college] – I did it again digitally.

Once again, not perfect. Far from it. The iris is too small, the pupils isn’t quite central. The eyebrow is too small in many ways. The shading is probably better – I think so at least. The iris has more detail but maybe too much. And the shadow under the eye makes them look ill. But, it’s my first attempt. And I think I did really well.
I’m going to keep going, mainly because I’d love to be able to get back to doing portraits. It was one of my favourite part about commissions, whether it was portraits of people or animals or furries… So, fingers crossed.
If you want to submit a commission, head over to my commissions page! These can be anything from physical items to art pieces.
Have an amazing day and stay safe!
